QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ABOUT THE CHARITY FIRST CARD

Here we will answer any questions that have come up regarding this program, and everything else we do. Check back, as we will update these Q/A's as new ones come up.

Q. Why are you doing this?

A. We always have had a heart for helping people and impacting the lives of others. We have always been big supporters and patrons of small businesses, so when dreaming up this idea...we decided to make a small business FOCUSED discount card. More often than not (sadly) small businesses get overlooked in favor of the big chains...and we wanted to do our part to promote all the wonderful small businesses in the US and Canada. At the same time, we have always been supporters of the smaller and less known non-profits and outreaches. Like small businesses, they to often get overlooked in favor of the larger non-profits. Combining small businesses and small non-profits into a fundraising card, seemed like the right thing to do!

Q. What are your goals for this card?

A. Simply put, we hope to add tens of thousands of small businesses to this card. Its free to participate, and you have nothing to lose! If we are able to add that many businesses, we know we will be able to help great causes raise money! Its all about impacting lives, in some way-shape-or form!

Q. What is the benefit to my business for participating?

A. Well, there are numerous benefits.

First, you can expose your small business absolutely FREE!

Second, you can potentially gain new customers and supporters simply by accepting our discount card...this could wind up being thousands...even tens of thousands of extra dollars in income!

And Finally, the best benefit of all....is the fact that by participating you can help great causes raise much needed funds. To many of these small causes, an extra few hundred dollars a year could have a tremendous impact on their ability to help people, animals, etc!!

Q. I don't see any business entries in my area, state, province, etc??

A. Being this is a new business, and that we need participants in every state in the US, and every province in Canada....it might be awhile before we have enough participants. PLEASE do not let this discourage you from participating. Often businesses are hesitant to try something, or to be the first........but with this...its FREE...and you have NOTHING to lose by participating!

Q. How does this card work if you are only an online business?

A. This card is designed to work for both brick and mortar and online businesses! If you are online only, all you have to do is have your offer mention something like "when you checkout, mention the Charity First Card card and enter code XYZ" Many of our online supporters are doing this. Often, many shopping cart programs have a coupon generator..which would make this process easy. Also, if they are phoning in their order to you....you can do the same thing "when you call, mention the Charity First card...and....."
