Welcome to the homepage of the Charity First Foundation. This Foundation is the creation of long-time friends Christopher Dragus and Steven Bailey. We were looking for an opportunity to give back to our community but we could not decide upon a single cause or causes we wanted to help. In addition, we wanted to eventually be able to help not only our own area here in Northwest Indiana, but down the line be able to expand our efforts nationwide. It was from this desire the Charity First Foundation, Inc. was started in July 2005.
The mission of the Charity First Foundation, Inc. is to help the disabled and disadvantaged. We accomplish this through the work of our for profit business, American Marketing. American Marketing provides fresh, innovative fundraising solutions to nonprofit organizations nationwide FREE OF CHARGE. This is accomplished through the generous donation of sponsors who pick up the cost of operating these programs in the name of their favorite charitable cause.
This provides our business partners "sponsors" the opportunity to promote their business on a nationwide basis for a very small monthly expense. Additionally, they are able to participate in an advertising program that is currently not being utilized elsewhere.
As an added program, American Marketing is donating the use of our Business Card Centers to 45 Roman Catholic Churches around the Chicagoland Area. These centers will be used by these churches to raise needed funds to supplement the donations already received from Parishoners and elsewhere. ALL profits made from business card sponsors will remain with the churches. It is through the generousity of our individual and business partners that this program has become a reality.
